Sami Rahman

Sami has extensive experience in the field of employment law and has been instructed in a number of high profile cases, acting for both employees and employers, although in recent years the majority of his practice has meant acting for employers.

Sami is one of Chambers’ more senior practitioners, is an active member of the Employment Group and takes part in chambers seminars and events. Sami also regularly contributes to 7 New Square ’s monthly employment update. Sami provides bespoke training and seminars to both Solicitors practicing in Employment Law and Human Resources professionals.

Sami will accept direct instructions from the public and is experienced in providing support and training to Human Resources departments and individual professionals in Human Resources.

With appearances at the Court of Appeal (Civil Division), High Court (QBD and Chancery Division), County Courts and the Technology & Construction Court, Employment Appeal Tribunal and Employment Tribunals. Sami has also had a period as Employed Counsel in the private sector and more recently in the public sector.

Sami has also considerable experience and continues to practice in the areas of chancery, landlord & tenant and personal injury.
