Xenia completed a LL.B (Hons) degree in European and Comparative Law and a LL.M in Commercial Law before completing her BVC at the Inns of Court Law School.
Xenia has extensive experience in Family Law, Immigration and Public Law, and regularly undertakes general civil matters of a wide range, including commercial disputes, housing, landlord & tenant, personal injury and education law.
Xenia regularly appears in the Courts and Tribunals, undertakes regular advisory work and will be happy to assist with drafting court documents and advising on procedures and strategic planning.
Family Law
Xenia has extensive experience of all types of family cases, dealing with care proceedings and contact and residence disputes as well as with ancillary relief proceedings. Xenia's practical approach to dispute resolution, as well as her thorough and clear analysis of the merits of a case to the client, often enables the parties to find a solution that works for the whole family, long-term. Xenia has acted and advised on TOLATA applications, wardship applications and applications involving unmarried partners.
Human Rights & Immigration
Xenia has wide experience in all types of applications. Xenia has successfully argued Asylum and Human Rights appeals for a wide spectrum of nationalities, with particular knowledge in Turkish, Sri Lankan and Zimbabwean cases. Xenia regularly acts in business, employment and self-employment applications, as well as Entry Clearance cases dealing with members of the family and studies.
Public Law
Xenia regularly drafts documents and appears in the High Court on applications for Judicial Review following wrongful decisions by the Home Office. Xenia is happy to undertake such work on an emergency basis.
Civil Litigation
Xenia often advises and appears in civil disputes, ranging from contract and partnership disputes, to housing and personal injury, insolvency and trust work.
Xenia undertakes work in Education Law and other matters.
Xenia is a trained mediator.
She is fluent in Greek and French and has a good knowledge of German and Spanish.
