Head of Employment Gary Morton is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association working party dealing with the blacklisting of trade union members. The ELA's response to the Government's consultation paper can be dowloaded from the link below. Section 3 of the Employment Relations Act 1999 permits the Secretary of State to make regulations prohibiting the compilation of lists by employers and employment agencies for the purpose of discriminating against trade union members and /or activists.
